

Tammy Claridge

Tammy received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. She spent a majority of her nursing career in labor and delivery. She went back to school at South University, after 23 years as an RN, and received her Master of Science in Nursing with High Honors, becoming a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner at the end of 2024. She joined the team at The Spine Institute of the Carolinas in March of 2025, bringing her own journey of years of chronic back pain, with scoliosis rods placed as a teenager. She loves to meet new patients and educate them through their healthcare journey and with empathy, relate to them through their journey of back pain. She is excited to continue to learn from Dr Boatright and finds clinic and assisting him in surgeries fascinating. She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have 3 amazing grown boys. They have enjoyed military life and also moving and exploring several states and places over the years. Her passions include anything beach and ocean and her favorite place to live was in Hawaii. She loves to dance, decorate, organize, go to church, spend time with her family outdoors and enjoy their 30 acres in Georgia, and has a passion for meeting and taking care of people. She is here to serve the Hilton Head area and loves the charm of this coastal city.

David Linford

David received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of South Carolina Upstate. He was a member of Sigma Theta Tau. He received his Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from University of South Carolina. Prior to working at the Spine Institute of the Carolinas, David worked as an ICU nurse for 8 years. Earlier, David spent 11 years serving in the United States Army. David and his wife, Risa, have a sweet daughter. In his spare time he enjoys hunting and fishing.

Natalie Getty
ANP-BC
Natalie L. Getty has 22 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner and is board certified in Adult Medicine. She has been with the Spine Institute of the Carolinas since 2015. She completed her undergraduate studies at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and received her Master’s in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner training from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in Boston. She has also mentored and instructed Nurse Practitioner students from Regis College and Drexel University. Her career has mostly been spent in the specialties of Neurology and Spine Surgery.
